GodKey MFG — Terms of Service Effective: October 30, 2026 · Version: terms-2026-10-30
Who you're agreeing with. GodKey MFG is a product of Aurora Lites LLC ("we", "us"), a Washington limited liability company doing business as GodKey MFG, in Concrete, Washington. These terms cover your use of the GodKey MFG web app.
Your account and your company. You sign in as a person; your login belongs to you, not to any company. A company (workspace) is separate: closing or leaving a company never deletes your login. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.
Free during the beta, then a paid plan. GodKey MFG is in beta and is free until Mar 31, 2027. During the beta we take no card and charge nothing. After that, a paid plan is needed to keep using GodKey MFG. You'll get at least 30 days' written notice of the price before any charge, and nothing is charged automatically: a charge happens only after an owner of your company picks a plan. If no plan has been paid for by Apr 7, 2027, your company's account is suspended: no one can use it until a plan is paid for, but an owner can always download all of the company's data or close the company. A company that stays suspended for 12 months is closed, with 30 days in which paying restores it, and its data is then removed as described under "Ending your use" below. (See the Beta Notice below.)
If and when paid plans begin (how billing will work). We follow California's auto-renewal standard for every customer:
- Clear terms before any charge. Before we ever take a card, we'll show the price, the billing period, the renewal terms, and how to cancel, and we'll capture your explicit agreement to auto-renewal.
- Cancel anytime, online, in two clicks. You can cancel from Settings → Plan and billing without calling or emailing anyone. Cancelling never requires closing your company or deleting your data.
- Reminders and change notice. We'll send an annual reminder that your plan renews, and at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.
- We keep a record of your consent to auto-renewal for at least three years.
Acceptable use. Use GodKey MFG for your own manufacturing and business records. Don't break the law with it, don't try to break into other companies' data, and don't abuse the service in a way that degrades it for others.
Your data is yours. You own what you put in. For your account itself (your name, email and sign-in) we are the data controller; for the business records your company enters or connects, we act as your company's service provider (processor) to run the app — details in the Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy or deletion at any time (support@godkeymfg.com).
A record-keeping tool, not advice. GodKey MFG keeps records; it is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and we are not your accountant. You are responsible for your books, your filings and the records the law requires you to keep. Anything read for you by software — including a statement or document read with an AI service — must be reviewed by you before you rely on it; that is why nothing imported posts to your books without your review.
Who can use it. You must be 18 or over, and authorised to act for the business whose company you create or join. GodKey MFG is offered to businesses in the United States.
The service is provided "as is" during the beta. We work hard to keep it running and backed up, but during the beta we can't promise it's free of bugs or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (which, during the free beta, is zero).
Changes to these terms. If we change these terms materially, we'll post the new version with a new effective date and ask you to accept it. The version you accepted is recorded with the date.
If the business is sold or transferred (assignment). We may assign or transfer these terms and your account to a successor — for example if Aurora Lites LLC or the GodKey MFG product is sold, merged, or reorganized. We'll tell you if that happens, and the successor must keep to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You may not assign your account to someone else without our okay.
Ending your use. You can stop using GodKey MFG at any time. Your company's owners can close it in GodKey, under Settings, Company details: every owner approves, and for 30 days after closing an owner can restore it. Your company's data is removed from GodKey 30 days after closing, and every backup copy of it is deleted no more than 92 days after that removal. If our backups ever stop running, deletion waits until they run again. The Privacy Policy says how. Want a copy first? Email support@godkeymfg.com before you close — you are responsible for keeping the records the law requires. To delete your login, email support@godkeymfg.com — we'll verify it's you and do it by hand within 14 days of your request. We can suspend or end access that breaks these terms.
Governing law. Washington State law governs these terms, and any dispute is handled in the state courts of Skagit County, Washington.
